About the Role
As the Digital Growth Consultant at Pugpig you’ll be advising some of the world's leading media brands on how to grow revenues by supporting the optimisation of their audience acquisition, conversion and retention activities.
You will be a part of a small team of consultants with expertise in product development, product management, UX, design, insights and digital growth. As a new business line for Pugpig, you will help with business development in addition to the delivery of consulting services.
You will support client product development on Pugpig’s platform so that their products will meet or exceed clients’ audience and revenue goals. Using data and experiments, you will help our clients iterate their products to grow audiences and increase their revenue.
You will be a vocal, inspiring thought leader, who has opinions about the future of publishing and how growing audiences and increasing engagement will drive sustainable revenue growth. You will work with our marketing team to develop white papers, insight, market analysis and other content that will reinforce the Pugpig brand as an industry leader in delivering digital publishing products and services.
You have deep experience of audience development and revenue strategies in the publishing industry, either from an agency or publisher perspective.
You have experience managing subscription and membership conversion funnels.
You have experience in audience development strategies to build awareness and engagement that lead to conversion including projects in SEO, social media, newsletters and ASO.
You have experience with subscription and membership platforms used in the media industry including Piano, Zephyr, CDS and Poool.
You have experience in data and insights tools both in subscription and membership platforms and common analytics platforms commonly used in media including Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics.
You will have knowledge of onboarding strategies to help retain newly acquired subscribers or members.
You have experience in A/B testing to optimise subscription and membership conversion. A bonus would be if you have experience using A/B testing to support application store optimisation projects.
You love speaking to customers and have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
You have opinions about the industry and you’re willing to share them in public
You’re happy working in a busy, buzzy environment and are adept at juggling multiple priorities at a time.
You’re tech savvy and have a genuine interest in software and digital products.
